This week we had one more in a long series of new home owner experiences – draining the swimming pool and refilling it. There were some calcium buildup spots we had to sandpaper down, but it didn’t need an acid wash this time around.
Now we’re using our hose and filling it up. Which started last night for four hours, then this morning we started it up again at 7:30 and it still has a good two feet left to go. We’ll likely stop it before it’s at normal height in hopes that the rain we’re supposed to get tonight will take care of the rest (as it is, I am sort of not looking forward to our next water bill).
